Welcome to our organic supplements and wellness hub. Here we research popular supplements for genuine organic sourcing and, above all, third-party testing, then score each one out of 100 with our Organic Integrity Score. No brand pays to be featured or ranked.
Health note: Everything here is general information, not medical advice. Supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and the evidence behind many popular claims is limited. Talk to your doctor before starting any supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, take medication, or manage a health condition.

What makes a supplement worth taking
Supplements are the category where marketing runs furthest ahead of the evidence, so we focus on what can actually be verified rather than on health claims. When we research a supplement, we weigh these first:
- Third-party testing: the FDA does not review supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold, so independent testing for potency and contaminants (heavy metals, toxins) is the single most important signal.
- USDA Organic and non-GMO: certification adds real oversight to how an ingredient is grown, which matters most for roots, algae, and anything that can concentrate contaminants.
- Usable formulation: the right form and any absorption support (like black pepper with turmeric) decide whether your body can actually use what is on the label.
- Honest claims: we do not repeat unproven “superfood” promises, and we flag safety considerations like iodine in sea moss or diluting apple cider vinegar.
Guides and explainers
- A Beginner’s Guide to Organic Supplements: why third-party testing matters, and which categories are worth buying organic at all.
- Third-party testing for supplements: what USP, NSF and a certificate of analysis each prove, and what none of them cover.
- Heavy metals in organic food: organic rules never test for lead, arsenic or cadmium, and 8 of 236 listings we read mention them at all.
